As Bondi Scent candles are designed for longevity, the first burn may take up to 2 hours. Once fully melted, fragrance throw will be at its strongest. Tip: For events, light your candle about an hour before guests arrive. Trim Trim the wick to approximately 10 mm after each burn to maintain an even flame and reduce smoke. If soot appears on the glass, allow the candle to cool and wipe clean with a soft cloth. For best results, burn your candle for no more than four hours at a time. Reuse Discontinue use when approximately 10 mm of wax remains. To clean your vessel, place it in the freezer to remove remaining wax, then wash with warm soapy water. Do not pour wax down the drain. Once cleaned, reuse your vessel — perfect for flowers, brushes, or everyday storage.

When correctly sized and trimmed, these wicks support a steady flame and consistent burn. To ensure the cleanest burn experience, we recommend allowing the first burn to fully melt the surface of the candle (approx. 2 hours), trimming the wick regularly, and avoiding burn times longer than four hours. Draft-free placement also helps maintain an even flame and optimal performance.
